Elizabeth Fennema Memorial CGI Seminar for Grade K-2 Teachers | Remote | June 23 - 26, 2025

We are offering an open-enrollment CGI seminar for grade K-2 teachers in a remote learning format, June 23 - 26, 2025.

The sessions will run 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Central Time. 3 four-hour remote Saturday sessions will be provided in the 2025-2026 school year for follow-up support.

This course is open to individual teachers or groups of teachers from the same school or school district.

The tuition is $950 per participant. If you pay for the course and are unable to attend, you can send a substitute in your place.

Please register 1 person at a time so that we can collect information about each participant.

Participants will need the following supplies and materials:

  • A computer with video camera and microphone.

  • Internet access.

  • The ability to participate in a Zoom meeting.

  • A copy of the book, Children’s Mathematics available from Heinemann and other book sellers.

  • Handouts - a pdf file will be emailed to participants. Participants will need to print the file.

  • Blank paper and pens or markers.

  • If you don’t have a quiet place to participate in our Zoom meetings, headphones with a microphone would be really useful.


Our typical daily schedule will be:

(Times listed in the Central Time Zone)

9:30 – 11:00 a.m. | Whole group Zoom session

11:00 – 11:45 a.m. | Individual work time

11:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. | Whole group Zoom session

1:00 - 1:45 p.m. | Lunch Break

1:45 – 4:00 p.m. | A mix of small group and whole group Zoom session

30 – 45 minutes of independent work to be completed before the next daily session starts


About Registration

Registration will be limited to 30 participants and will be filled on a first come first served basis. Payment in-full or a purchase order is required to hold a spot.

Refund Policy: Tuition will not be refundable, unless we have a wait list. If you register for the course and are unable to attend, you may send a substitute in your place. If we are able to refund tuition, we will refund 90% of your payment to cover credit card fees and processing.
